Sara women in Chad have kept their hair past their waists for centuries by grinding chebe leaf, folding it into shea, pressing it through every strand they tended. Every Sanyu batch carries that practice forward. Shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba and lanolin carry the chebe powder through the shaft. Every botanical from the Signature Oil is folded directly into the base. The result is one thing, not two: dense, warm, deliberate. Your hair will know the difference by morning. The Practice
Take a small amount. It melts almost immediately between your fingers. Begin at the ends, the oldest and most weathered part of your hair, smoothing upward toward the root. Seal the root last, pressing the balm in with intention. Twist, braid, or wrap. Leave overnight if you can. In the morning, your hair will remember why you started.
Scent
Warm chebe and shea butter first, rounded and earthy, then something greener rising from the herbs. Rosemary, fenugreek, a whisper of clove. Like a garden at the edge of dusk.
