Terms of Service

Sanyu Botanicals is a brand operated by Mirembe Muse (Pty) Ltd, registered in South Africa. Our products are made in East London, Eastern Cape. By purchasing from us or activating an Angel Card, you agree to these terms.

Each product batch is limited to 10 units. Product descriptions, ingredient lists, and images are accurate at the time of listing. Batch-to-batch variations in colour and scent are natural and do not constitute a defect.

Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time before an order is fulfilled.

Orders are processed via PayFast. Payment is taken at the time of checkout. An order confirmation email will be sent to the address provided. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or pricing errors.

We ship nationwide with Pargo — either to a Pargo Pickup Point of your choice or to your door — and offer free personal delivery in East London. Pickup delivery is free on orders over R350. Delivery times are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by the courier. Risk of loss passes to you upon handover to Pargo. Full options and pricing are on our Shipping & Returns page.

Due to the personal care nature of our products, we cannot accept returns of opened items unless they are faulty. If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, or change your mind on an unopened item within 7 days, you can return it through our Pargo returns portal or by emailing hello@sanyubotanicals.co.za with photographic evidence. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days via the original payment method.

The Angel Circle is a loyalty programme accessible to customers who activate a QR Angel Card. Membership is non-transferable. Tier benefits are earned based on order count and journal streak as specified in the portal. We reserve the right to modify tier thresholds and benefits with reasonable notice.

Journal entries submitted through the Angel Portal are processed by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) to generate personalised hair care tips. By submitting a journal entry, you consent to this processing. Your entries are stored securely and not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to generate tips and comply with legal obligations.

All content on this website — including text, images, brand names, and product formulas — is the intellectual property of Mirembe Muse (Pty) Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

We are not liable for allergic reactions to ingredients listed on product pages. Always patch test before full use. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of our products or website.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
